Sneak Peaks for the Next 2 Episodes of 'Outer Space Astronauts'

Written by  Bryan Jones on Thursday, 10 December 2009

If you watched the new Syfy comedy series Outer Space Astronauts last week and fell in love with the hilariously dry and witty comedy we have something special for you. Below is a sneak peak at next week's (Tuesday, Dec. 15) two new episodes. The first episode is titled Of Cannibals and Cuddlepuffs and the sneak peak features the news from Captain Ripley that he has mono and is putting Operations Officer Donna Kennedy in charge of the ship, instead of his second in command, ensuring that Commander Amos, the only capable person on the ship, is always second fiddle. The synopsis is below:

As Ripley battles a serious case of mono, Sunny adopts a seemingly loveable and cuddly smelling “pet” onto the ship. Brimley and Matheson attempt to rescue a damsel in distress from a group of not-so-wonderful-smelling cannibal kidnappers

The second episode is titled "Undies" and the sneak peak gives a glimpse of the crew's witnessing of a nearby nova (not to be confused with a super nova). This is by far one of the funniest episodes of the series and is a must see. The full synopsis follows:

Barely escaping the wrath of a mistaken supernova, Intern Jimmy Peck becomes seriously ill while a disgusting, filthy undergarment begins to exhibit extraordinary powers. Sunny helps Ka’ak file her first report in the human art of office bureaucracy.

My Eyes Fall Gently Shut
It’s strange the things you think about in the end. I know the odds of survival for a young man in my position are considered to be quite high. The odds for a man my age? Considerably lower. Somewhere in the area of one in one million, I imagine. I can’t help but picture one million men—all decked out in the same preposterously bulky suits—stretched out alongside me, trailing out for mile...
